Environmental Policy

GJD recognises its environmental responsibility to the local and wider community. Everyone within GJD manages resources effectively and efficiently.

Three key factors to GJD’s environmental policy include:

1.    Energy efficiency
2.    Waste minimisation and recycling
3.    Purchasing principles

Energy efficiency
By being energy efficient GJD reduces its greenhouse gas emissions, this is helping to support the government’s initiative of reducing emissions by 80% by 2050. GJD has also significantly reduced use of non-renewable energy sources.

Waste minimisation and recycling
At GJD we always strive to improve our impact on the environment by following the ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ policy.

Purchasing Principles
GJD purchase items and services which are environmentally friendly. We also inform suppliers of our strict environmental policy.
